What to wear today?
What to wear today in The Netherlands? This App gives you the answer and helps you decide what to wear. It works like this: The Lametric shows the apparent temperature 'gevoelstemperatuur' for the day in Celsius degrees so that you know whether to put on a shirt or a sweater in the morning. The apparent temperature is calculated using the JAG/TI method. This apparent temperature is different than other temperature indicators that show the present temperature outside at the moment you look at the Lametric. The apparent temperature shows you what you can expect during the day. Furtermore, the Lametric will show an orange shirt when the apparent temperature is above 10 degrees. When the apparent temperature is below 10 degrees, it will show a blue shirt. Apparent temperatures below zero shows icicles on the Lametric. At midnight the Lametric is updated with the new apparent weather situation for the upcoming day. Thanks go out to the official Dutch weather station (KNMI) for the accurate base data.
